Making backups of website databases and files is very useful if later errors and other things occur on the website while making edits or other things. So, the last data can be returned before an error occurs.
- Log in to your Plesk Control Panel (for the first time a pop up cookies will appear at the top, click Accept all cookies.);
- Click the domain for which you will schedule backups;
- Click Backup & Restore;
- Click Schedule;
- Check Activate this backup task;
- Choose when the automatic backup will run (Daily, Weekly or Monthly; also set the hour);
- Use incremental backup does not need to be checked;
- Backup Settings -> Check Backup all (so that all data is backed up) or it's up to you; Just leave it in store (standard stored on Server storage);
- Exclude log files, Exclude specific files from the backup & If errors occur during the execution of this backup task, send a notification email to no need to check or up to you;
