The benefit of downloading a website backup file to a PC is to take care of it if something unexpected happens to the server or host.
- Log in to your Plesk Control Panel (for the first time a pop up cookies will appear at the top, click Accept all cookies.);
- Click the domain where you want to download the backup file;
- Click Backup & Restore;
- Make sure there is a backup file view. Look far right next to the size of the backup file, there is an arrow facing down (clicked);
- Use password protection is checked and enter your Plesk login password, or you can leave it unchecked;
- Click OK and wait for the download process (depending on the size of the download file);
- Then a display will appear where we will save the downloaded file;
- Done.
